YOUR Work Continues Amid COVID19!

Despite all of the curtailments of normal life that are transpiring around the globe, the work of changing lives that YOU are responsible for with your generous gifts to Body & Soul Ministries continues to move forward. The Coronavirus will not stop Kingdom work!

Dear Friends of Body & Soul,

We wanted to touch base with our loyal partners during this difficult time, where life seems to be on hold, to let you know that our primary Body & Soul Ministries projects are moving full-steam ahead. The only project that has been affected has been our English Centers in Vietnam, when all schools in the country were ordered to shut down due to the spread of this silent enemy.

Board members Danny Carrigan and Greg Smith were fortunate to just make it to Indonesia and back home before the virus exploded in Asia and then immediately in United States and elsewhere. Our eye surgery camp there in Northern Sumatra at the end of February was an amazing success where 529 eyes were given sight at three different locations. This is the 15th year that Body & Soul Ministries has been sponsoring these surgery camps in Indonesia. Because of your faithful donations through the years we have been blessed to help give sight to 8,743 eyes, changing the lives of not only these patients but also all of those who have been assisting them.

The construction of the Mukdahan Safe House in central Thailand and the one in the Philippines that BandS is spearheading are progressing and near completion. We are in partnership with Ron Brown and Save Asian Souls in this great work. There are now almost 300 young girls who are being housed, cared for, taught and most importantly, being saved from the abhorrent scourge of sex slavery.

We have also just recently been given the opportunity to build yet another safe house, this time in Lampang, Northern Thailand - which will house an additional 32 to 40 girls. The construction of this new facility should begin in the last half of this year.
